Cultivation of boro is going on in full swing in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT).

Farmers and agriculture officials in the three hill districts are working hard to bring 23,383 hectares of land under boro cultivation this season.

No move yet to reopen Rangamati Textile Mill

Rangamati Textile Mill (RTM), the lone industry in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), is closed for several months, leaving hundreds of workers unemployed and causing hardship for them.
