Cultivation of boro is going on in full swing in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT).
Farmers and agriculture officials in the three hill districts are working hard to bring 23,383 hectares of land under boro cultivation this season.
Farmers under the supervision of the Department of agriculture Extension (DAE) in Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban districts has already completed planting of boro seedlings on 16,405 hectares of lands. >more> http://nation.ittefaq.com/issues/2009/02/07/news0648.htm
